“Senator Ernst and Grassley agreed to chair your campaign, so while Iowans flood their offices with calls, yours is sure to get through”
Des Moines, IA- With the U.S. Senate still considering a repeal to the Affordable Care Act and cutting funding to Medicaid that helps tens of thousands of Iowans get access to quality health care, State Senator Nate Boulton released the following statement:
“Republican governors across the country are showing political courage and putting the good of their citizens ahead of party,” said Nate Boulton. “Unfortunately, our current governor is not one of them. Governor Reynolds, you still have a chance to do the right thing and join your Republican colleagues. Call on our senators to vote against this disastrous bill that will rip health care away from tens of thousands of Iowans.”
“Nearly 200,000 Iowans will lose their health care under this bill, and we must do everything we can to stop it. Senator Ernst and Grassley agreed to chair your campaign, so while Iowans flood their offices with calls, yours is sure to get through. Call them today and tell them our state needs them to vote no on this bill.”
Iowans can call Governor Reynold’s office at 515-281-5211 to urge her to call Senator Ernst and Grassley to vote no on the Republican Health Care bill in D.C.
